Kids Activities

Children are a really important part of the Church family at Woodhill. Our children's ministry have lots going on, run by a big team of volunteers. We love creating a place where children know they are important and can have fun whilst learning about God, Jesus and the Bible!

We have different activities for different age groups. Take a look below, we'd love to welcome kids to any of our sessions.

We facilitate creche facilities during our Family service for babies and toddlers up to 3 years old. There are toys to play with in a very relaxed setting. Parents are welcome to stay or leave their child with our team so they can head back to the service.

Sunbeams is a fun time of learning for kids from 3-5. We have playtime, singing, snacks, crafts and a Bible story. Parents are welcome to stay until their child is happy and settled. We head to the Sunbeams room together from the Family Service.

We teach Primary aged children about the Bible and how they can love and serve God, even at an early age through games, singing, crafts, prizes and more. We begin in the Family Service at 11am then head downstairs together during the service.

Little Rainbows
0 - 3 years old

Little Rainbows provides a safe, caring and friendly environment during the week where parents, grandparents and childminders can enjoy the company of other adults while their babies and toddlers have fun together.

During the session we have play time, a song time, occasionally do a craft and enjoy a snack. Our team provide juice and biscuits for the children and tea, coffee and biscuits for adults.

Little Rainbows runs on Monday - Thursdays between 10:00 - 11:30am during school term time. Each term of 10 weeks costs £20. We currently have a waiting list. To download an application form, visit our forms page. To find out more, send us an enquiry through our contact page

Stepping Stones
3 - 5 years old

Stepping Stones is a ‘Learning Through Play’ experience for 3 to 5 year old children and to bridge the age gap between attendance at Little Rainbows group and going on to school. Stepping Stones also allows an older child to attend a fun morning while a younger sibling attends Little Rainbows with their guardian.

The children have a snack time, are encouraged to do a craft each week and learn other play activities. Free play is encouraged and includes painting, play dough modelling and other table toys, such as puzzles and building construction. Each morning is concluded with a story and a singing time.

Stepping Stones run on a Monday morning from 10:00 - 11:30am during school term time. To find out more, send us an enquiry through our contact page

The Ark
P3 - P7

The Ark is a fun club for children in primaries 4 - 7, packed with high energy, fun games, challenges, crafts and quizzes. We want to introduce the kids to the Good News of the Christian faith through everything we do. We also have a focus on family and community engagement so our team of volunteers also visit families during the week.

The Ark takes place on a Thursday evening from 6:45 - 8:00pm during school term time. The Hub Cafe is also open upstairs during this time so parents can enjoy a hot drink and snacks while the kids have fun with the leaders. To find out more about The Ark, send us an enquiry through our contact page.
