The Leadership Team at Woodhill is made up of Elders, Trustees and Pastors. They look after the Church members and vision to ensure we glorify God with one purpose. They are supported by a small staff team and a group of volunteer ministry leaders who look after our key areas.
Alan Donald became the Pastor at Woodhill in 2006. He became a Christian through reading the Bible at home and was baptised in Peterhead Baptist Church in 1988.
Alan trained at the Scottish Baptist College in 1991 after being called to serve the Lord. He became the Pastor of Denny Baptist Church in 1995 before taking on the role of chaplain at the Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice in 2000.
Alan is married to Nina and they have three sons; Grant, Aaron and Robert.
Women's Pastoral Worker
Lynn Wood joined the Pastoral Team in 2019. She attended Woodhill with her family from a young age, becoming a Christian at 10 years old and was baptised at 15 years of age.
Lynn left a 31 year career as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in 2018 when she felt God calling her to serve Him on a full time basis to support and encourage women going through difficult times and to reach out to others.
Lynn is married to Peter and they have two children; Ryan and Poppy.
The Elders at Woodhill Evangelical Church have ultimate responsibility for the oversight of the Church. They also support and provide accountability for the Pastoral team and ministry leaders.
