Lynn Wood

The Leadership Team at Woodhill is made up of Elders, Deacons, Trustees and Pastoral staff. They look after the Church members and vision to ensure we glorify God with one purpose. They are supported by a small staff team and a group of voluntary leaders.

David Gooding

Pastor and Elder

David became the Pastor at Woodhill in January 2021.

David studied at the International Christian College in Glasgow and then the Scottish Baptist College. He has been working in full-time church ministry since 2007 and he was ordained by the Baptist Union of Scotland in 2013.

He is married to Susie and they have three children, Amy, Ben and Lydia.

Lynn Wood

Women's Pastoral Worker and Deacon

Lynn joined the Pastoral Team in 2019.

Lynn left her career as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner when she felt God calling her to serve Him full time to support and encourage women going through difficult times. She has attended Woodhill with her family from a young age.

Lynn is married to Peter and they have two children; Ryan and Poppy.

Elders

The Elders at Woodhill Evangelical Church have ultimate responsibility for the oversight of the Church. They also support and provide accountability for the Pastoral team and Deacons. Our Pastor is also part of the Eldership team.
