2027: Flourishing in Every Circumstance

Flourishing sounds easy when life is going well. But most of us also know seasons that feel like hard ground - when we're tired, worried, grieving, or waiting for something that hasn't come.
This year we’re spending the day in Romans 5, where Paul makes a surprising claim: hard times aren’t wasted. They can grow perseverance, shape who we are and lead somewhere hopeful.
There will be Bible teaching, worship, prayer and stories from women who have found God faithful in difficult places. Whatever season you're in, we hope you leave encouraged and a little more rooted than when you arrived.
Flourish is for women of all ages and all stages of faith - whether you’ve been part of a church for years or you’re just curious. Come along and bring a friend!

Emma Scrivener
Emma is an author and speaker who lives in Eastbourne with her husband and children. She co-presents the Christianity Explored series and co-hosts the Table Talk podcast. Her books include A New Name and A New Day, and she writes honestly about identity, mental health and the joy of knowing Jesus.
